my wife is not a liar

Thursday, October 23rd. Field Trip day. I'm at the Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge outside Prairie City getting ready to hear a buffalo presentation with a bunch of 13-year-olds. My phone vibrates--it's Wifey.

Leah's excitement is evident immediately. "She turned over! I had her on her stomach and turned around to get something and when I turned around again she was on her back and--"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes! I promise!"
Leah then shared the news with a few people, as well as googling, "at which age do babies turn over?"
When I got home, she told me that after finishing her calls, she put Cayla back on her stomach to see what would happen. Again she turned over, this time the other way.
As you can imagine, I wanted to see the phenomenon for myself. So we tried on Friday. Nothing. And again Saturday. Not even close. By this time I was starting to wonder if Mommy was telling stories. I mean, CJ didn't even act like she knew how to shift her weight at all.
Well, tonight Cayla decided to leave me no doubt. Not once or twice, but four times in the span of about five minutes, she rolled over from tummy to back, two times each direction.
So...I guess my wife is not a liar. Here is some evidence...

Jerod - never doubt your wife (hasn't Wade taught you anything). And I can't believe how much Cayla has changed since she was born - she just keeps getting cuter!

We actually saw the rollover last night---and captured it on video!! Just too cute how she gets her little leg up high, arm tucked under just so, has her head a certain way---and then over she goes. Way cute.
